Your home and contents are possibly your greatest assets. We offer PremierCare® Home insurance to protect them.

To suit your requirements and budget, we have three levels of cover for your home and contents.

PremierCare® Classic Home*

Provides cover for loss or damage to your home and contents by any of the wide range of Insured Events specified in the policy. There are also a host of worthwhile additional benefits making Classic a popular choice. Your building and contents are covered 'New for Old' replacement regardless of age and includes a number of environmental benefits.

PremierCare® Prestige Home*

For those looking for extra protection, Prestige provides the broader cover of accidental loss or damage (unless otherwise excluded), for example spilling paint on your carpet. Again there are a host of additional benefits including environmental benefits and other extras not found in Classic Home. Your building and contents are covered 'New for Old' replacement regardless of age.

PremierCare® Vital Home*

Vital is a “basic” cover option providing a lower level of benefits than Classic Home, but still offers the same environmental benefits. Vital also has a higher Standard Excess to help reduce premiums - ideal for those mainly concerned with larger losses.

Member benefits*

PremierCare® Home insurance is designed for credit union members and includes benefits not commonly found in many other policies, for example:
  • Bone fractures cover (not applicable to Vital Home) - a great benefit for families with active children, because accidents do happen! Up to $1,000 cash benefit if you or your family suffer a fracture to one of the bones specified in the policy. Cover applies anywhere in Australia.
  • Standard excess waiver - enjoy the advantage of not having to pay your standard excess if your claim totals more than $3,000. For Vital Home, or when you voluntarily take a higher excess, this waiver is limited to $100.
  • Paraplegia or quadriplegia – up to $10,000 contribution towards the cost of modifying your building where your permanent paraplegia or quadriplegia is a direct result of loss or damage to your building by an insured event (applies to building cover only).
  • Compensation for death - $10,000 where you suffer fatal injury caused by burglars or fire at your home.

Premium benefits to help reduce your premium*

  • A No Claim Bonus (NCB) of up to 30% on both building and contents, depending on your claim history. NCB does not apply to Personal Effects cover.
  • A discount if you insure both your building and contents on the same policy and for the same cover level.
  • Reduced premiums for buildings less than 15 years old.
  • A discount on both building and contents if you are aged over 45 years.
  • A discount on your contents if you have an approved security system installed at your home.
  • The option to increase your Excess for a reduction in premium.
