• You're covered on all inland waters, harbours, estuaries and waters up to 50 kilometres from the Australian coast, as well as while
your craft is ashore anywhere within Australia (including transit by road or rail).
• Cover not only includes the boat hull, but also a dinghy (used as a tender), motor(s), sails, masts, spars (including the rigging),
equipment, accessories and the boat trailer.
Pleasure Craft insurance includes great features such as:
• Legal liability: Your legal liability for death or injury to other people or damage to their property caused by the use or ownership of
your boat is covered up to $5 million.
• Substitute craft: Your legal liability will automatically transfer to a substitute craft that is not owned by you but used by you when
your own craft is not in use.
• Legal costs: Authorised legal costs to defend court proceedings relating to a claim under the policy.
• Personal effects: Cover up to $250 for the personal effects and clothing for you, your spouse or dependant children if they are lost
or damaged while on board your craft.
• Compensation for death: $2,000 will be paid to your dependants if you die as a result of an accident involving your boat while it is
afloat.
The policy also provides optional cover for:
• Sail craft racing and trialling
• Legal liability to and of water skiers
