The Community Reward Account can help organisations raise vital funds without completely relying on cash donations and other fundraisers, all you need to do is open an account and start saving.
Features & Benefits:
The Community Reward Account is an everyday, at call savings account offering the following features and benefits to the account holder:
- A competitive interest rate.
- No monthly account keeping fees.
- Access to funds 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Helps your nominated local community group with fundraising at no cost to you.
The main feature is the ‘Community Bonus Payment’ benefit whereby a linked community group of your choice receives an annual donation.
The donation is based on the average annual balance of your account. Each year on the 30th of June we calculate the average annual balance in all Community Reward Accounts linked to a nominated community group and then donate the equivalent of up to 1.5% of those balances to them.
How it helps the community
When you open a Community Reward Account you nominate a community group you would like to support from our list of participating community groups. By nominating that community group you are telling us exactly where you want our sponsorship dollars to go.
If your favourite charity or community organisation is not on our list, simply have them register with us so they can also benefit.
